How to connect your Slack account to Kitchn

1. Head to the Kitchn Integrations Settings at https://app.kitchnware.io/integrations

2. Click on Slack, then click on the green Connect button

3. You will be redirected to Slack. Make sure you are in the correct workspace, you can switch it in the upper right corner.

4. Click on Allow, you will be redirected to Kitchn.

5. Depending on your Slack settings, you may need to approve the integration:
1. These steps need to be performed by an admin:
2. In your Slack workspace, click on the workspace name in the upper left corner
3. Go to Settings & administration → Manage apps
4. Here you should see the Request for connection under Request. Approve the Kitchn app.

6. You can also customize the appearance of the Kitchn app user in your Slack workspace:
1. On the Slack integration page in Kitchn, click on Edit (under Action)
2. Here you can set a custom Icon and name for the Kitchn app user
